Knot — Privacy Policy

Knot does not collect, transmit, or share any user data.

  • All annotations, settings, and test scores are stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local and never leave your device.
  • Knot makes no network requests of any kind. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party services.
  • The content script reads visible page text only to find your saved words and display your notes. Page content is never stored or transmitted.
  • Removing the extension permanently deletes all stored data.

The extension pages contain an optional link to the developer's Ko-fi page (ko-fi.com/officedoge). Following it is entirely optional and subject to Ko-fi's own privacy policy.
